An exhibition by Seaford painter Katy Oxborrow, returning for her 3rd Crypt show. 5 Rhythms pays homage to the fundamental components of life; Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space.
3 years in the making, this exhibition highlights a desire to learn from nature; its cycles and rhythms. In the modern world it is easy to lose sight of our natural state of being. Katy explores our connections to the earth and questions what may be possible if we look beyond our perception.
Taking inspiration from writers, philosophers, ancient symbolism and mythology, Katy's art helps her to make sense of the world, and to question what it is to be human.
