SEA, SKY, SALT, SOIL: Art of the Sussex Coastline
This October, SEA, SKY, SALT, SOIL invites audiences into a sensory and contemplative exploration of the elemental Sussex landscape — its shifting skies, salt-laced air, rolling tides, and chalky cliffs.
Held at the historic Crypt Gallery in Seaford from 15–19 October 2025, this group exhibition brings together mixed-media works, ceramics, jewellery, and design to reflect on the raw power of nature and the deep relationships between people and place.
Curated by Brighton-based artist Laura Callaghan, the exhibition features Callaghan’s own environmentally responsive work alongside specially selected contributions from regional artists: Julian Warrender (jewellery), Julie Ingham (design), Kate McMinnies (ceramics).
