Our Happy Place

The Ouse Valley Artists meet every Wednesday morning at Denton Community Centre, and the title of their exhibition echoes a phrase often heard my happy place usually while making coffee in the kitchen. To me it seems to sum up what most of us feel in the couple of hours when we create our work together in a mostly calm but not always silent space!

Our approach is best described as a workshop approach though occasional life drawing classes are also held. We have exhibited recently at The Hillcrest Centre Cafe in Newhaven but this is our first return to The Crypt after quite a few years and we are excited to be there.

We enjoy our painting sessions and hope that you enjoy the results.
