NIGHTMARE AT CHRISTMAS: A TrixStarT Horror Exhibition & Pop-Up Cinema
Step into a chilling winter wonderland of dark folklore, practical film effects, and indie cinema as Independent Film Production house TrixStarT presents Nightmare at Christmas at The Crypt Gallery, Seaford, from December 16–20, 2026.
Transforming both the contemporary ground-level gallery and the historic vaulted 14th-century medieval undercroft, this 5-day event explores the darker side of festive folklore, holiday myth, and creature craft.

● The Crypt Underground Cinema (PG) Descend into the medieval stone undercroft for continuous screenings of 5 festival-winning short films by TrixStarT, headlined by the 16-time award winner Merry Christmas Mithras alongside a slate of psychological, dark folklore, and holiday horror shorts.
● Horror Film Prop & Dark Art Gallery Get up close with screen-used props, creature masks, concept art, storyboards, and gothic art pieces celebrating Christmas myths & Folklore
● Hands-On Creative FX Workshop (Take Your Art Home!) - Horror Mask-Making Masterclass: Learn practical film techniques and craft your own wearable monster or folklore mask.
● Film Props & Art Silent Auction Bid on exclusive, original production props, signed concept prints, and custom-cast masks. All net proceeds will be donated directly to The Film and TV Charity (supporting behind-the-scenes screen workers) and Cinema For All (funding grassroots community cinema).
● Screen Trades & Film Careers Hub Committed to advocating for the British film industry, the exhibition features an open information hub equipped with career pathways, apprenticeships, and skills development resources from ScreenSkills, Into Film, and the BFI Heritage Fund.
