Sara Hill is an established artist from Brighton. 

I have had over 100 exhibitions, mostly solo, across the UK and in Berlin. I have sold worldwide and have had paintings featured on TV many times.

The Victorians had a penchant for using birds and beetles as fashion items, leading some to the brink of extinction. I prefer to honour wildlife as subjects to incorporate into my oil paintings and drawings.

The world around us is a constant inspiration. My intention is to draw the observer in, to discover a hidden world that isn't immediately obvious, taking time to absorb the intricacies in the artworks. They have been described as 'slow revealers'.

2026 began with changes to my ongoing corporate exhibition in Brighton, followed by a solo show at the Oxmarket Contemporary in Chichester and then a solo exhibition at the Skyway Gallery in Shoreham.

This is my second exhibition at the Crypt, I am looking forward to welcoming back returning visitors and looking forward to seeing new faces.
