Gerald Shepherd F.F.P.S. – Ionist Art 

Gerald Shepherd is a prolific artist, photographer, writer and curator known for his diverse, multidisciplinary portfolio. Working across painting, digital art, graphic design and photography, he is celebrated for his pioneering and highly individual creative approach which he calls Ionist Art (or Meditative Process Art). This uses sequential and metamorphic formats influenced by the artist’s interest in science, classical music and the natural world to develop ideas and images across the picture plane. The imagery itself ranges from conventionally figurative through vibrant surrealism to complex abstraction. Gerald Shepherd has exhibited widely and has work in private and public collections throughout the country.
